Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd., the country’s biggest brewery, rose to a one-month high in Kuala Lumpur trading after it signed an agreement to buy Carlsberg Singapore Pte. for 370 million ringgit ($151 million) from their Danish parent.
The stock gained 1.6% to 4.48 ringgit at 9:08 a.m, set for the highest level since Aug. 6. Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia will be guaranteed an aggregate profit of $24 million for this year and next, the company said in a statement.
